The Azonic steelhead... One of the most popular indepedent bike
manufacturers frames around. This bike is thick and burly and will
hold up to almost any hit you throw at it. The one major flaw with
the bike is weight. The big pro that everyone loves about the
steelhead is the incredibly low cost of the frame and the verstalitly
that the fram gives you. Its geometry means that if you wanted to
ride the bike cross country, its definently possible! This bike is a
lean mean, affordable machine that the average rider can afford. You
don't need to spend your entire piggybank to buy a bike, especially
just a steel framed hardtail. Many other manufacturers charge a high
premium for steel framed hardtails, such as do-ber-mann, but azonic
seems to realize that it doesn't cost that much to make one of these
bikes, and they should not be priced much higher than comparitive bmx
bike frames. It doesnt cost 700 bucks to make a steel frame and alot
of hard working riders out there appreciate and enjoy this great bike
frame from azonic. You can often pick up a complete version of this
bike for cheap off of ebay. I highly recommend the Azonic Steelhead
for 95% of riders with the 5% being for obnoxious gearheads who need a
perfectly light bike to pull off tricks.. you know who you are...
