The giant stp is one of the most popular bikes in the freeride
market. There are a bunch of reasons why the stp is a popular bike,
but probably the two biggest reasons are its affordable cost and
verstility. The STP stands for street, trail, park meaning that its
good for pretty much any type of riding that people ride hardtails on.
They gave it an all around geometry with a ton of stand over height so
riders could have the control they need to rock out all around the
city, whether it be on the dirt jumps, in the urban jungle or in the
skatepark. The STP excels at riding all around. There were three
different component levels available of the stp, with each level (1,2
and 3) up indicating an increase in component quality. The frame is the
same on each level. If I were to recommend a course of action, I would
recommend to get the stp 1 or 2 and upgrade as parts break. That way
you have an affordable but great bike to get started on and as you get
better and need better parts, you will be upgrading them in order. All
in all, I think its safe to highly recommend the giant stp

They are hardtails with around 80 to 120 mm of travel in the front. These bikes sell like hotcakes and you will easily be able to find tons of them on sale online. You can read more reviews at

Giant
rider Jeff Lenosky, aka the Godfather of Urban Freeride, chooses STP
for the gravity-defying tricks that earned him the rep. With butted
ALUXX SL alloy tubing, tight geometry, a low saddle height and taller
front end, its just what Jeff needs to stick every landing.
